„FESTIWAL CHLEBA. Wypieki i smarowidła.” to pierwsza edycja targów prezentujących tradycję i kunszt rzemiosła piekarskiego, jakie odbywać się będą cyklicznie
w WYPIEKACH KULTURY. Odbędzie się on przy ul. Stolarskiej 2/4 na warszawskiej Pradze dnia 16.11 w godzinach 11-18. Wystawcami będą: piekarnie, cukiernie, blogerzy kulinarni, firmy oferujące wszelkiego rodzaju smarowidła do pieczywa: dżemy,konfitury, pasty, hummusy itp oraz producenci akcesoriów kuchennych (pojemników na chleb, mąkę, cukier, foremek do wypiekania ciast i ciasteczek itp.) oraz KOŁA GOSPODYŃ WIEJSKICH z Mazowsza z wyrobami tradycyjnymi.

 Skąd ta inicjatywa? Siedzibą CENTRUM jest ponad stuletnia piekarnia – przepiękny, zabytkowy budynek na warszawskiej Pradze-wybudowany w 1900 roku i od tego czasu w formie niezmienionej prężący dumnie swoje mury na rogu ulicy Stolarskiej i Letniej. Jeszcze pięć lat temu wypiekano tu chleb, teraz siedzibę mają tu WYPIEKI KULTURY. Działanie Wypieków Kultury jest wielopłaszczyznowe, nieszablonowe, nieskrępowane i nastawione na kreatywność. Te zabytkowe ściany są świadkami koncertów, wernisaży, konferencji, bankietów i imprez zamkniętych. „Promujemy głownie artystów, tym razem jednak chcemy oddać hołd miejscu, w którym się znajdujemy. Goście, którzy odwiedzą nas tego dnia będą mogli nie tylko posmakować i zakupić do domowej spiżarni różne smakowitości, ale też obejrzeć nasze zabytkowe piece, w których jeszcze kilka lat temu wypiekano chleb” – zapowiadają organizatorzy.

BREAD FESTIVAL – BAKES and SPREADS  is the first edition of a fair presenting the tradition and art of baking, hosted by WYPIEKI KULTURY – a cultural center in eastern district of Warsaw called Praga. The event will be held on the center premises at 2/4 Stolarska street on November 16, 2013. Among the participants are bakers, confectioners, culinary bloggers, manufacturers of dips, spreads, jams and cookware, as well as Mazovia Country Women Associations and their home-made products.

Where does this idea come from? The premises of WYPIEKI KULTURY center is located in an over a hundred-year-old bakery building on the east bank of the river Vistula in Warsaw, on the corner of Stolarska Street and Letnia Street. Built in 1900, the building remains in its original shape. Five years ago it has changed from a bakery into an unconventional and creative cultural center. Being a historic site in Warsaw, WYPIEKI KULTURY is a place with unique atmosphere. The variety and versatility rooms allowed them to be used to host all kinds of events like concerts, exhibitions, conferences, banquets and special events. The festival is an attempt to pay tribute to the building and its original purpose. The visitors will have an opportunity not only to taste and purchase our delicious food specials, but also to see the historic ovens from the bakery, watch exhibitions related to the topic of bread.
